PCC EWD is dedicated to creating opportunities for economic, social, and personal growth for all of its constituents – students, faculty, community partners, industries, and local businesses. By focusing on identifying and developing the workforce training programs demanded by today’s evolving industries, PCC EWD supports connecting its students and graduates with the businesses and sectors that need them.
Twice a month, PCC EWD issues its ‘Pulse Newsletter,’ which offers insights on economic and workforce sector information as well as the emerging issues and ideas that concern its community, whether local, regional, or statewide. The Pulse is the only written resource regularly issued by PCC that addresses these topics, making it a critical read for anyone invested in the growth and success of Pasadena and beyond.
Recovery after wildfires is a whole-community effort. Through Summer 2026, PCC's EWD will host webinars to help coordinate the regional wildfire recovery effort.
